Event Polishing Day - Yankee Air Museum
Date April 5, 2008
Place Willow Run Airport, Michigan

The Yankee Air Museum at Willow Run, Michigan, preserves old aircraft for historical purposes. Because aluminum corrodes, it is necessary that the aircraft be polished every year. We will be participating in the 2008 Polishing Day and Bomber Buffing on April 5th. This is a public, no cost event that provides a service to the community.

Wear old clothes; you will get dirty. Please bring a small can of Maguire's aluminium polish and a rag or two.

We will leave the church at 8:00 AM. Doughnuts and juice will be available after 7:30 AM. Lunch will be provided. Expected return is early to mid-afternoon.

This will be a fun event, plus this project counts for service hours. You can find a Troop 14 flyer describing this event, including pictures, here.

As with every campout or special activity, each Scout must have a completed permission slip bearing an original signature of the Scout's parent or guardian. The permission slip for our campout is available in .pdf format by simply clicking on the icon below. You can fill out the permission slip on-line, then print the permission slip. Or, should you prefer, you can first print the form, and then complete the form off-line.
